Windows platforms supported for Policy Agent

All Windows operating systems listed below are supported on Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.  For data encryption:

  • Only Windows basic disks are supported. Windows dynamic disks are not supported.
  • To use the hicli command line interface with Windows, you need to enable WinRM (Windows Remote Management), which is disabled by default. The Python pywinrm package must also be installed on the Windows control node on which hicli is running.

Make sure that you have the latest Microsoft patches on your Windows operating system.
