In order to deploy a Cryptographic Security Platform Vault node in a Microsoft Azure environment, you need to:
- Deploy a Entrust Cryptographic Security Platform Key & Secrets Vault BYOL (KeyControl) virtual machine (VM) resource from the Azure Marketplace. For details, see Deploying a CSP Vault Node in Azure.
Use SSH to configure the new Cryptographic Security Platform Vault node. How you do this depends on whether this is the first Cryptographic Security Platform Vault node in the cluster or if you are adding this node to an existing Cryptographic Security Platform Vault cluster.
- If this is the first node in the cluster, configure the node and initialize the Cryptographic Security Platform Vault webGUI. For details, see Configuring the First CSP Vault Node in Azure.
- If you are adding this node to an existing Cryptographic Security Platform Vault cluster, configure the node and authenticate it with the existing cluster. For details, see Configuring Additional CSP Vault Nodes in Azure.
