Use the KMIPCLI create-client-cert command to create the certificate to be used for the KMIP Client.

kmipcli create-client-cert [options]

Description

-h or --help

Displays usage text.

-t, --cert string

The certificate to be used for the KMIP Client. Strings must be enclosed in double quotes.

This field is only visible if the custom_cacert_use_to_verify_kmip_client_cert option is enabled in hicli. If enabled, you must provide the location to upload a custom certificate.

If no certificate is uploaded, then you will see an error saying that the certificate was not provided.

-c, --csr string

The certificate signing request to be used to generate the KMIP Client Certificate. Strings must be enclosed in double quotes.

-e, --expiry-days int

The number of days before the KMIP Client Certificate expires.

-n, --name string

The name to be used for the Client Certificate.

-p, --passphrase string

The passphrase to be used if the KMIP Client Certificate is encrypted.
