Create this destination to install the issued certificates as the server TLS certificate of a Microsoft IIS web server.
On certificate issuance, Certificate Manager ignores any user-provided CSR and uses instead a CSR generated at the destination along with the key pair.
To create a Microsoft IIS web server destination in Certificate Manager
- Configure a Microsoft IIS web server as explained in Microsoft IIS web server prerequisites.
- Log into Certificate Manager as an administrator with one of the following roles:
- The global_admin role.
- A <user_defined> role with permission to create destinations.
- Go to Automate > Destinations.
- Click Create and set the Microsoft IIS web destination settings.
- Click Verify to check the connection with the destination.
- Ensure the hash displayed by the confirmation message matches the hash of the destination public SSH key.
- Click Create to confirm the destination creation.
